An Introduction to SEN

This unique course offers an insight to Special Educational Needs. The course is taught using SEN materials – enabling you to have hands-on experience using the materials, tips of how to cater for children with SEN, and also provides you with the tools to understand the overall needs of children with an addition learning requirements and means in which to foster their development and learning.

  • Course Duration: 1/2 day (3 hours approx.)
  • Course Requirements:
 No knowledge of childcare is required, however, candidates need to be fluent in English.

  An introduction to the following conditions (to include signs/symptoms and tools which enable the practitioner to facilitate learning/development):

  • Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder
  • Autism
  • Dyspraxia
  • Dyslexia
  • Dyscalculia
  • Bi-Polar Disorder
